Setting Up Your Cronus Zen

Step 1. Download Zen Studios

Zen Studio is the official software used to configure your Cronus Zen and load scripts onto the device. Download it from cronusmax.com and run the installer.

Once installed, open Zen Studio. You'll be greeted with the main dashboard — this is your control centre for everything Cronus related.

Step 2. Connect Your Cronus Zen

Using the included Programmer cable, connect your Cronus Zen to a USB port on your Windows PC. Make sure you're using the port labelled PROG on the device itself.

Once connected, Zen Studio should automatically detect your device and display it in the bottom status bar.

Step 3 — Configure Your Device Settings

Open the Device tab at the top of Zen Studio. You'll need to apply different settings depending on which platform you play on.

Xbox & PC Players

Apply the following settings:

✅ Open Device Monitor With Build And Run
✅ Unload Script When Closing Device Monitor
✅ Open Gamepack Configuration After Drag And Drop
✅ Enable Autosave In Compiler
✅ Enable PS Remote Play (For PS5/PS4 Consoles or PC)

❌ Disable Screen Saver When Device Monitor Is Open
❌ Enable PS4 Speciality (For PS5 Console)

Set Remote Slot Change to PS-Slider and Output Protocol to PlayStationBlue in Emulator Mode.

PlayStation 5 Players

Apply the following settings:

✅ Open Device Monitor With Build And Run
✅ Unload Script When Closing Device Monitor

✅ Enable Autosave In Compiler

❌ Disable Screen Saver When Device Monitor Is Open

❌ Enable PS Remote Play (For PS5/PS4 Consoles or PC)

Set Remote Slot Change to PS+SHARE and Output Protocol to AUTO in Emulator Mode.

Note: If AUTO is not working in Emulator Mode, manually select your console from the Output Protocol dropdown instead.

Your Cronus Zen is now fully configured. You're ready to load and run your scripts.
